CARVA Information & The Needs
Over the past 25 year+ the Colonial Area Republican Associations and other Republican Clubs in the Greater
Williamsburg Area, have made donations to many candidates. They have watched as campaigns have changed
from primarily individual door knocking, to utilizing expensive and highly developed media, such Facebook
Tik Tok, Instagram, and TV ads. These latter types of media come with significant costs, and are not simple
to create nor continue with a high frequency. Typically, statewide television ads can reach into millions for
each broadcast, airing and version which appears.
The Area Republican Associations have made donations of their association funds, and have supported
fundraisers every election year. CARVA is better positioned to assist candidates by raising funds on a
monthly, quarterly, or even annual basis. It is structured to help replace almost all other fundraising.
It can support Republicans, and better enable media participation for all candidates. Monthly donations
may be as litttle as $5.00, $10.00, $20.00 or any amount chosen. Multiple different donation methods are
supported, all in a secure and simple format.
